XD Yes I found myself thinking that while I was reading it too... I don't get Charles at all, from like the first to the last book he changes so dramatically...

Yeah, he's... definitely complicated. He's probably my favorite fictional character ever, but I'm still not entirely sure how to characterize him when I write about him. I imagine it doesn't help that my Japanese is incredibly rusty and I probably translated half of his scenes wrong. D:

I can't read any Kanji yet so I have no clue other than the pictures XD; It was like he went from evil overlord to little Riku loving boy.... Do you know exactly what happened there? Or the basic idea? I've always realyl wondered about that... His hair turned really flippy too X3;

OH, in the last 2 volumes you mean? Because he died when Saya stabbed him (lol I hope no one who's worried about spoilers reads this thread); the flippy haired one who doesn't talk who shows up later is a clone of him that's part of the CORPSE CORPS. So aside from Riku's nightmares and the Vietnam flashback, anything that looks like him that shows up after chapter 9 isn't him.

Ah! That sucks for him XD Thank you soooo much! I kind of suspected something with the CORPSE CORPS but yahhh I was so clueless lol. I need to really get working on reading that Japanese.... *scared of Kanji* Flippy hair'd is still adorable <3
